It would behoove this talented producer of Alsatian-style white wines to adopt the universal Riesling scale on the back label, in order to emphasize the crisp, food-friendly style here. Though not bone dry—there's a light hint of residual sugar—it's dry enough to work well with many foods. Lemon tea, orange rind and pink grapefruit flavors abound, backed by clean, cutting acidity.
